Awarded the championship trophy for the Whitehall Invitational Tournament
Congratulations to the FMS track and field team for receiving 33 awards at Saturday’s middle school invitational tournament at White Cloud.
Leading the way for the girl’s was Mercedes Westbrook with a personal best record of 13 minutes 11 seconds in the 2 mile run.
Mikayla Anderson was 1st overall at the tournament in the 800 meter run.
Claire Schaar and Ashley Schmidt both won awards in the 1 mile run.
Whitney Jones, Taylor Whitney, Kendra Stacey, Erica Vandermeer, and Katie Harrington also won awards Saturday in frigid conditions. Good job ladies!
Congratulations to Tim Palmer and Jesse Reichle for winning gold medals in the 200 meter hurdles and 200 meter dash.
Also, congratulations to Tyler Green for winning awards in the 1 mile and 2 mile race.
The golf team placed 2nd at the Mohawk Invitational on Friday, April 25.
Ludington won with a 304 score and we shot a 314.
There were a total of 22 teams at the event.
