Information on: NEW MICHIGAN MERIT CURRICULUM (MMC)
Dear Parents of 8th graders:
At this time, we are preparing for the 2007-08 school year. As you may have heard, your son/daughter will be the first graduating class (2011) to be affected by the new state high school graduation requirements. There are several major changes in the requirements that will change how and what is scheduled for their high school career.
To gain an understanding of these requirements and to receive information on scheduling for the high school we are having an informational meeting on the 22nd of February at 7:00pm in the high school multipurpose room. We will have a short presentation, answer any questions and distribute a booklet that outlines the new requirements.
Below you will find a link to a booklet that outlines this new state mandated curriculum along with a link to a short video about the new curriculum.
