Fremont made it into the title game at Big Rapids, but fell 4-2 to the hosts. Max Morrison went the distance on the mound, but Fremont failed to capitalize on some key scoring opportunities ending what has been a turnaround season for Coach Steve Luchies’ squad. The Pack went into extra innings in the semi-final to defeat Tri-County by 10-8. Mac Houston had three hits in the win and Jared Vandenberg had two. Morrison drove in three runs with a double.
