The 8th grade basketball teams split last night with Grant with the B team winning 37-23 while the A team struggled to a 44-22 loss. In the B team game Blake Siersma and Mateo Botello paced the boys with 7 points a piece followed closely behind by Grant Clark with 6 points. Zeb Snow, Mitchell Delong and Donovan Locke did an excellent job rebounding and playing defense as well.
The A team was paced by Dylan Krim with 10 points followed by Kyle Flannery with 4. Jacob Kaastra had a fine defensive game as well. The boys will be back in action Monday at home against Newaygo.
